Kenji Kanagawa is a writer and editor with a background in physics and education. Shortly after turning 30, a fall from a hammock left him paralyzed [C5-C6 quadriplegic]. After 3 months of rehabilitation, he went on to complete his degree in physics, begin work as a scientific editor, write his book “A Novel Story,” and learn how to live independently as a high-level quadriplegic. Kenji also tries to give back to the SCI community through volunteer work and demonstrations, showing a small slice of what is possible for quadriplegics post injury.

Kenji and his dog Bonus live, work, and podcast from Monument, Colorado and are available to travel for speaking engagements.
